DUBLIN’S CULTURAL DEATH RATTLE

In association with District Magazine

The past two years has seen a succession of closures for Dublin cultural  institutions, with venues like the Screen Cinema, Tivoli Theatre, Hangar and The Bernard Shaw forced to turn off the lights even as planning permission is granted for hotels to be built in their place. For this discussion we’re joined by some of Ireland’s most prominent cultural mainstays – those who’ll be directly involved in maintaining the creativity that exists in the capital long after the cranes have gone: Craig Connolly (District Magazine), Trevor O’Shea (Bodytonic founder), Vanessa Fielding (The Complex) Robbie Kitt (Give Us The Night/Dublin Digital Radio) and SUBSET.
